Is it compatible with my Canon camera?
This lens is designed for Canon EF-S mount, so it is compatible with Canon APS-C sensor cameras, such as the Rebel series, 60D, 70D, 80D, 90D, and 7D. It is not compatible with full-frame (EF) sensor cameras or other brands without an adapter.
Does it have image stabilization?
No, this lens does not incorporate image stabilization. However, its f/2.8 aperture allows faster shutter speeds in low-light conditions, which helps reduce camera shake. If your camera has in-body stabilization, it will work complementarily.
What type of filters can I use?
The lens has a filter diameter of 82mm, so you can use filters of that size, such as polarizers, ND, or protective filters. It is a common size in professional optics, although it may require larger diameter filters than standard ones.
What is the minimum focusing distance?
The minimum focusing distance is 0.28 meters, allowing you to get quite close to the subject for close-ups with a wide angle. It is useful for detail photography or creating dynamic perspectives.
