Its maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows working in low light and offers excellent control over depth of field, ideal for portraits with blurred backgrounds and smooth bokeh. The optical construction includes extra-low dispersion (ED) elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and the Nano Crystal Coat reduces flare and ghosting in intense light conditions.

No, this lens does not include image stabilization (VR). To avoid camera shake in low-light conditions, we recommend using a tripod or increasing shutter speed.
